How To Delete Messages on iPhone?
All in all, there are three ways to delete messages on iPhone. Let’s go through each one of them one by one.
Method #1
Step 1: Launch the Messages app on your iPhone.
Step 2: On the top-left-corner, you’ll see the Edit button. Tap on it.
Step 3: Find the message that you want to delete and then tap on the radio button on the left side of that message.
Step 4: Finally, tap on the Delete button on the bottom right corner.
Remember that doing this will delete the entire conversation. If you want to delete a particular message instead of deleting the entire conversation then you can jump to Method #3.

Method #2
Out of the three, this has to be the easiest way to delete messages. All you’ve got to do is swipe left.
Swiping left will reveal two options – ‘Hide Alerts’ and ‘Delete’. Tap on Delete.
Upon confirmation, tap on Delete once again and you’re done.

Method #3
This method works perfectly if you want to delete a particular message and not the entire conversation.
Step 1: Launch the Messages app on your iPhone. Navigate to that particular message which you want to delete.
Step 2: Tap and Hold that message. This will reveal two options at the bottom – ‘Copy’ and ‘More…’.
Step 3: Tap on ‘More…’. The delete icon will appear at the bottom left corner. Tap on it. Upon confirmation, tap on Delete Message and this will get your job done.
Just in case you change your mind and want to delete the entire conversation, instead of following Method #1 or Method #2, you can delete the entire conversation right from there.
All you need to do is tap on the Delete All button at the top left corner. It will then ask for a confirmation. Just tap on Delete Conversation. That’s it.
