Step 1

Launch Chrome and tap on the ‘three-dots’ button on the top-right corner.

Step 2

From the drop-down menu, tap on Settings.

Step 3

On the next menu, tap on Passwords. This will take you to a list of all the saved passwords along with options to turn off ‘Save Passwords’ and ‘Auto Sign-in’ at the top.

Step 4

Tap on the website of which you would like to see the password. You will see the e-mail id or the username associated with that website and your password beneath that.

To view your password, tap on the ‘eye’ icon. Before your password gets revealed, you’ll have to give the PIN, password or pattern as the case may be. Your fingerprint will also be sufficient if your phone has a fingerprint scanner.

How To Export Saved Passwords In Chrome On Android

Step 1

Open Chrome on your Android device. Tap on the ‘three-dots’ button on the right-hand side top corner.

Step 2

From the drop-down menu, tap on Settings.

Step 3

Tap on Passwords. On the next menu, again tap on the ‘three-dots’ icon and then hit ‘Export Passwords…’.

Step 4

It will ask you to confirm your PIN, password or Pattern. After you’ve entered the required PIN, password or pattern, tap on OK.

Step 5

A dialog box will appear with a warning that your passwords will be visible to anyone who can see the exported file. After taking that into consideration, tap on ‘Export Passwords…’.

This will open the share menu for you to choose how you’d like to export the file. You can e-mail it to someone (or maybe yourself), uploaded it on the cloud, share it with someone on WhatsApp, etc, depending on the apps installed on your device.
